I hope you don’t find this too odd but your recent ‘voice blogs’ made me realise you are the Leah McFall, head girl, 1990 - it was a step back in time! Your posts - verbal or written - are a highlight of my Substack week, so happy however they come.
Spring - one day it's coffee in the garden and the next is not wanting to get out of bed - or wanting to get back into it.
Have you noticed rubbish is a lot less classier these days than it used to be. Tho seems seems open sewers are still a thing. Noticed something called a Sludge Tax on the terrifying rates bill.
Wonderful to reclaim your house at last - congratulations on its rebirth! And thanks for the reminders of life in the burbs... Oh backstreets of Karori - how I miss you! Not.

LOVELY to know, Catherine - I'm glad. And teehee! Good old NPGHS!

I saw that too! I was like, what is this, Dickensian London?

Bravo! Again, loving your observations and humour, Leah. (Flaring nostrils! The random stuff lobbed into your garden! The dry baguette.)
Congratulations on being rid of the scaffolding and having clear sight of the house. What a relief.
I've never liked those damned horses, Wendy.
